The roughly 7.5-mile Miners Ravine Trail and the Dry Creek Greenway follow wooded creek corridors from Old Town Roseville out toward Sierra College Boulevard, and they plug into the broader Sacramento-region multi-use path system — most notably the American River Parkway / Jedediah Smith Memorial Trail, 32-plus paved miles running from Sacramento up to Folsom Lake. These are family-friendly greenways rather than epic climbs; the deeper riding is a short drive southeast. Ride spring or fall — Central Valley summers routinely hit 95–105°F, so go early if you ride in the heat.
Lodging is chain-hotel territory clustered around the Westfield Galleria and the Highway 65 interchange. The Courtyard by Marriott Roseville Galleria Mall on Creekside Ridge is the standout for cyclists because third-party listings show a complimentary guest-bike amenity and it sits near the Miners Ravine corridor, though that program isn’t confirmed on Marriott’s own site. The Hyatt Place Sacramento/Roseville is a solid, well-located base near the Galleria and Maidu Park with no bike program of its own — treat it as a trailhead-adjacent place to sleep and rent nearby.
